How to Print a QR Code on a T-Shirt

AI-generated concept, not a photographed print sample or scan test. Create a QR from your own destination; do not copy the code shown in this image.

To print a QR code on a T-shirt with Lebseh, prepare the code image, open the T-shirt designer and upload it to the side you want to print. Lebseh lets you position the image and preview the garment. Creating the QR code itself requires a separate tool if you do not already have an image.

The code could open a project page, menu, portfolio or event link. Test the destination and image before ordering, then test a printed sample before approving a batch. A code that scans on a screen has not yet been tested on fabric.

For graduation, choose an album or memories page you control. Check that guests can open it without signing in and that the people pictured agree to the photos being shared. Generate a QR from that actual link, then upload it to your Lebseh T-shirt design. Start with the graduation T-shirt page for the occasion, then test a sample before ordering a batch. The image here illustrates the idea only.

1. Choose your T-shirt and printed side in Lebseh

Open the T-shirt designer directly, choose the colour and size, and select Front or Back. Use the garment preview to consider placement. If you already have a QR image, continue to the upload step below. Otherwise, prepare the file with a QR code generator first.

Open the intended link in a window that does not use your signed-in session. Check that a visitor can reach the page and see the information you want to share. Avoid links that expose private information or require permissions your readers will not have.

You can use QRLynx to create a QR code for your link and download its image. It is optional: a valid QR image from another tool can also be uploaded. Lebseh handles the image placement and garment printing; its current designer does not include a QR code generator.

A code that stores the destination URL directly keeps that encoded URL after printing. If you choose a code that uses a managed redirect, check the service terms, plan and continued availability of the redirect. Test the actual destination before relying on either option.

3. Preserve the image and clear border

  • Use a dark code on a clear white background. Keep the image square without stretching or squeezing it.
  • Leave a clear white border on all four sides, four modules wide. A module is one small square in the code grid, not a centimetre.
  • Do not crop the edges or place text or artwork over the code or its clear border.
  • Keep the white panel. Avoid background removal if it would erase that space.
  • Upload a clear original image rather than a small screenshot or a repeatedly compressed copy.

DENSO WAVE guidance specifies a clear margin four modules wide. No single size in centimetres guarantees scanning on every T-shirt. The choice depends on code density, print quality, fabric, distance and the phone used.

4. Upload the image and review its placement

  1. Open the design editor for the chosen side, then choose Add and Upload Picture.
  2. Select the code file on your device. Lebseh accepts PNG, JPEG and WebP. Keep a clear PNG when available; SVG and PDF cannot be uploaded directly through the image field.
  3. Adjust the position and size without distorting the code. Check that its entire white border stays inside the print area.
  4. Choose Done, then review the T-shirt preview, colour, size and printed side before continuing with the order.

Use the size guide to choose the garment and the T-shirt printing page for service details. The preview helps you review placement; it does not measure whether the printed code will scan.

5. Test a printed sample before approving a batch

  • Scan the original code image and check the destination it opens.
  • Once a sample is printed, test it with the fabric flat and while the T-shirt is worn. Avoid a placement that folds repeatedly.
  • Try more than one phone, with lighting and distances that reflect the intended use. Record printed size, placement, phones, conditions and results.
  • If scanning fails, review size, clarity, margin and placement, then retest a sample before approving the remaining garments.
  • If the code needs to remain usable after washing, test the sample according to its care instructions and record the result rather than assuming it.

6. Review price and delivery before confirming

Check the price in Lebseh’s designer for the garment and printed side or sides you select. Checkout shows the total with delivery for your address. Amman delivery is free for a merchandise subtotal of more than 15 JOD and costs 2 JOD at or below 15 JOD. Delivery outside Amman costs 5 JOD.

For a batch or a sample arrangement, contact Lebseh to confirm details before ordering. Read the order-problem policy and do not assume cash on delivery permits opening the parcel or trying on the garment before payment. Keep a record of the destination link and check that it remains available after the T-shirts are distributed.

Frequently asked questions

Does Lebseh create a QR code inside the designer?

The current designer does not include a QR code generator. Prepare the image with an external tool, such as QRLynx if you choose, then upload it to the Lebseh T-shirt design.

Do I have to use QRLynx?

No. A valid QR image from another tool can also be uploaded. Preserve its clarity and white border, and test the destination and a printed sample.

What size should a QR code on a T-shirt be?

No single size guarantees scanning in every case. Choose a size for the code density, expected distance and print quality, then test an actual sample with more than one phone.

Can I print the code on the back?

The T-shirt designer lets you choose Front or Back. Review the printed side, preview and price before continuing with the order.

Can I change the link after printing?

A code that stores the URL directly retains that URL. Some services provide a managed redirect, but its availability and whether its destination can be changed depend on the service and plan.
